Hey guys my names Zack Im new to this forum.
And new to bow hunting, this is my 3rd year.
But i have tried to hunt the Vernon marsh land in Waukesha twice.
Anyone know any areas in there I should look for or should I just scout?
Mainly looking for a place that is close enough I can run to after work during the season or before.

Like you I live in Waukesha County but haven’t hunted the Vernon Marsh area. Finding a spot near home would be a plus but in 15 years of living here I haven’t found that spot close enough to let me hunt it during the week. Welcome to the forum.

Welcome to the forum. thanks, but yeah i see people going in and out of there all the time ive seen deer on multiple occasions but of course when im not hunting. I guess im just going to have to go out and scout and try different areas. but from what ive heard the good places are usually by canoe or kayak.

If memory serves they dont fill up every year. They want doe shooters too. Thats a good way to ear a spot the following year.
