Ive been messing around with the digital camera mount for my bow that I picked up at deer fest over the weekend. Ive tried a few homemade versions with little success. I made two videos with my Cannon camera mounted on the bow. I somehow lost the sound but it’s the video that matters anyway. I’m still on the fence about this mount but I have yet to see anything better. Video #1 was shot just before sundown but in the shadows with a white target. Video #2 is attached and was taken 10 minutes after sundown in a shadowed area with a black target. The mount is made by Insane Archery. The link to their web site is attached. insanearchery.com/

Not bad Ron. How is shooting with the extra weight on the bow? Personally, I cant get enough weight on a bow. This BowTech came in at 3.4 pounds and I set about adding steel weights until I got it up to 7 pounds. I hate a light bow. I hold, release and follow through (for me) are better when I have a heavy bow. My last bow (PSE) I added weight and it tipped the scales at almost 9 pounds. I’m not a day-trekker or spot and stalker. I’m a treestand or ground blind sitter so bow weight is not a negative for me. Hntswbow, I looked at the go pro camera and that might be where I end up. This mount only cost $40 and I haven’t given up on it yet. I have a few things I want to try.
