I checked on Wednesday last week and see I got week 2, zone 1 for the 2015 Turkey season. Has anyone received information in the mail yet? This is the first time my 2 boys and myself are trying the same week. Shooting indoor league to get the form ready. I hope everyone got what they applied for.

I took a point for a bear tag. Is this year starting with dogs or baiting?

Leftover turkey tags are no available. Check out the DNR web site if your looking for another tag.

I hunted week 2. I got a Tom on Thursday morning, 4/23, at 6:15am. He gobbled hard on the roost along with 3 other Tom's. The other 3 continued to gobble on the ground but the Tom I got went silent when he hit the ground. He walked out across the field 110yds away. One light purr and he spotted my Jake and Hen decoy, fanned out and came running. I shot him at 16 yards. 25 lbs., 1inch spurs, and a beard just shy of 10in. From the time I spotted him until the shot probably took all of 10 seconds.
